There is no such thing as the “best” university in Australia. Different universities excel in different areas. Popularity of the university depends on individual preferences and perceptions. IELTS is a minimum requirement to study in Australia. Diploma courses demand for an IELT band of 5.5 whereas for a degree a band of 6 is required. Besides English proficiency, admission for most courses is based on past academic qualifications and or work experience hence no ‘entrance exams’ are required.

The cost depends on the course, duration, the university, location. To get your visa you need to show the tuition cost + Accommodation cost and airfare.

PR stands for Permanent Residency, There are many professions which are highly regarded when applying for the PR. You can apply for PR only if you can score more than 65 points on your application, These points are based on your age, education and qualifications, work experience, IELTS score. Obtaining an Australian qualification gives you extra points on the application, especially  if your qualifications is appearing in the skill list.

You cannot apply for the PR while studying although you can apply once the course is complete.

You are allowed to work Full time with no restrictions while you are waiting for the application to be assessed.
